Definition
- School health teams exist in schools to promote and improve the health of students and staff, as well as improve student academic achievement. A school health team representing a single school is an interdependent team with representation from the school and community that collectively advises, guides, and promotes health programs, services, and activities in the school for students, staff, and families.
