service integration
Definition
- Service integration involves the coordination of public health and social services so that individuals can gain access to a wide range of services. These strategies include, for example, forming interagency coalitions to take action regarding barriers to care, and offering clients “one-stop shopping”: Agencies agree that clients' entry into care through any one agency gives them access to all.
