social distancing
Definition
- Social distancing is a method of avoiding disease and contamination that is spread by contact with and close proximity to other people. Although the proven method of quarantine is the strict separation of both diseased and undiseased, or contaminated and uncontaminated, social distancing can be used to continue to perform needed functions while offering some protection against the spread of disease and contamination.
