social policy
Definition
- Social policies can be defined as public interventions affecting the distribution of vital opportunities for citizens and their general well-being. Such a generic definition should acknowledge other public policies, not “social” in sensu strictu, which also aim at the improvement of people's living conditions and the advancement of social citizenship rights.
