Definition
- At its simplest, prostitution is the sale of sexual services to a buyer for payment, goods, or services. Prostitution is illegal in the United States, with the exception of 12 Nevada counties: Churchill, Elko, Esmeralda, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Lyon, Mineral, Nye, Pershing, Storey, and White Pine.
