Definition
- Standardized tests are administered to large groups of students and are intended to measure academic achievement and potential. Standardized tests include exams that are considered by college admissions departments, such as the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT); tests required for individuals to receive high school diplomas; and tests that measure whether children in primary grades are ready to move on to a higher grade.
