Definition
- Toybiz was a manufacturer of action figures and other toys, principally associated with superhero and media tie-in figures. After a shaky start making superhero action figures licensed from DC Comics (publishers of Superman, Batman, The Flash, etc.), Toybiz got the license for Marvel Comics action figures and released a 1990 line of Marvel Super Heroes: Captain America, Doctor Doom, Spider-Man, the Hulk, the Silver Surfer, and others.
