videoconferencing
Definition
- Videoconferencing refers to the transmission of images (via video) and sounds (via audio) between two or more physically separate locations. Once the sole province of the corporate boardroom, videoconferencing is used today in telemedicine, distance education, theatrical productions, political trials, and anywhere else the ability to “be here now” is desired.
