- Acts that involve great force and are capable of and intended to injure, damage, destroy, or intimidate. The study of domestic violence includes marital rape, incest, child abuse, partner abuse, and parent abuse; other acts include gang warfare, victimization, aggressive behavior within institutions, and other crimes.
