Definition
- DIET MAY ACCOUNT for a significant proportion of cancers occurring in Western populations. Higher rates of some cancers in North America and Europe have led some to suggest that unhealthful aspects of diet in these Western countries, loosely termed the Western diet, may affect cancer risk.
