Definition
- Wicca is a polytheistic Neo-Pagan nature religion based on pre-Christian Pagan religious traditions and ancient god and goddess worship. Wicca became popular in the United States and Europe during the 1960s and is the largest of the Neo-Pagan religions.Since 1975, the U.S. government has recognized Wicca as a religion protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution.
