wilderness programs

Definition

  • Wilderness therapy programs are structured around a series of tasks that may appear insurmountable and dangerous to the youth, but the challenges are designed to be safe and eventually solved. Solutions, however, require students to use their own physical, emotional, and cognitive resources as well as to work with others collaboratively.
