Definition
- According to data from the Bureau of Justice Statistics, between 1992 and 1996, more than 2 million incidents of workplace violence were reported per year. This includes 1.5 million simple assaults, 396,000 aggravated assaults, 51,000 rapes and sexual assaults, 84,000 robberies, and 1,000 homicides.
