Definition
- A group belief is a belief held by a group of two or more people, such as a couple, a club, a corporation, or a state. The question of whether groups may literally be said to have beliefs, and if so when, has significant implications for explanation and evaluation of group and institutional behavior in the social sciences and in ethics.
