Indonesian Americans

Definition

  • According to the 2010 census, fewer than 100,000 Americans self-identify as Indonesian alone or in combination with some other group, making Indonesian Americans only the 14th-largest group of Asian Americans, despite a considerable increase in population from 2000 to 2010. Although Indonesian immigration to the United States dates back to the nation's settlement, numbers have historically been low.
