  • One of the nation's oldest and largest organizations devoted to bringing African Americans, particularly those living in cities, into the mainstream of society by ensuring equal access to education, employment, and social services. With headquarters in New York City, the National Urban League has branches in more than 100 cities and 34 states, all dedicated to civil rights and antipoverty causes.
