  • The Pew Research Center for the People & the Press is an independent research institute located in Washington, D.C. Data from the surveys conducted at the center offer insight into public sentiment about issues of politics and media. Formerly the Times Mirror Center for the People & the Press, the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press is one of six projects that make up the Pew Research Center, an internationally recognized and respected “fact tank.” The center has been funded since 1995 by the Pew Charitable Trusts.
