TRICARE
Definition
- TRICARE is the U.S. Department of Defense's (DOD's) medical entitlement program that covers eligible uniformed services beneficiaries for medically necessary care. Eligible beneficiaries may receive care either at a DOD military treatment facility or from a TRICARE authorized civilian provider.
