  • Tourette syndrome is a complex debilitating neurological disorder that arises during childhood or adolescence mostly affecting people under the age of 21. The syndrome, first described by Georges Gilles de la Tourette in 1885, is estimated to affect approximately 1 to 2 percent of the population.
