Definition
- Intentional communities are groups of people whose members have chosen to live together, to follow a common purpose, and to intentionally create a better society at least for themselves if not for everyone. Leadership is a contentious issue within these communities because issues of power, hierarchy, and equality are often central to why people joined these communities.
