  • Valerie Plame Wilson worked as a covert operative for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) between 1986 and 2003. Her covert status came to an end when her identity as a CIA agent was revealed publicly on July 14, 2003, in a Washington Post column by Robert Novak.
