Definition
- Spatially integrated social science (SISS) derives its principles and practices from the integration of spatial analytical methods with the theories and thematic problems of the social sciences. SISS is based on the premise that a wide variety of social processes and problems are understood more clearly through the mapping of phenomena and the analysis of spatial patterns.
