Definition
- Students receiving special education should have access to a coordinated and comprehensive health education program to help them develop and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. The Coordinated School Health program provides collaboration among general education and special education teachers, staff, and other service providers to positively influence the health of all children and youths.
