- The National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS) is a nationwide network that enables criminal justice agencies to exchange information quickly and cost effectively. NLETS provides intrastate as well as interstate transmission of data such as vehicle registration, driver's license information, wanted persons, criminal histories, and Canadian hot files.
