- The Alliance for the Separation of School & State is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization located in Fresno, California. Founded in 1994 by libertarian Marshall Fritz (1943–2008), the Alliance staunchly opposes the government's involvement in education and advocates for the complete separation of school and state.
