  • The American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) is the principal professional association for survey researchers in the United States. Organized shortly after World War II, AAPOR develops and promotes ethical principles to guide survey research, advances its methodology, and attempts to further an understanding of appropriate practice both for researchers and the general public.
