  • BASED IN MOSCOW, the Center for Energy Efficiency (CENEf) is a nonprofit independent Russian organization founded in 1992 to promote energy efficiency and environmental protection in Russia. The Pacific Northwest National Laboratories of Battelle Memorial Institute, the World Wildlife Fund, the Social and Ecological Union (in Russia), and Mikhail Berner, president of the Russian Energy Manager's Association, founded the center.
