  • The Holocaust, led by Germany's Adolf Hitler, was the systematic slaughter (1941–1945) of 11 million people, including 6 million lews (lV2 million of whom were children) and 5 million others, including homosexuals, disabled people, Roma (Gypsies), lehovah's Witnesses, and political prisoners.
