Morse code

Definition

  • Morse code is arguably the first type of electronic, digital communication. Much like binary computer systems, which use ones and zeros, Morse code is comprised of “ons” and “offs.” Also like computers, the code relies on precise intervals of time between dits and dahs (dots and dashes) and between letters and words.
