Definition
- Known officially as the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico has a unique culture that combines elements of its Anglo, Native American, and Hispanic cultures. The state, which was historically referred to as the Land of the Heart's Desire because of the vast opportunities it offered, is also known as the Cactus State.
