  • A SWOT analysis involves analyzing both the external and internal environments of an organization to determine the threats and opportunities presented by the external forces as well as the strengths and weaknesses within the organization. Threats are trends or changes in the external environment that challenge traditional ways of doing business, threaten growth prospects, or create profit pressures.
