  • Sogyal Rinpoche's 1992 publication, The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, is a work partly based upon the Tibetan Buddhist text Bardo Thödol, or Tibetan Book of the Dead. Sogyal Rinpoche's text interprets and expands upon many of the teachings in the Bardo Thödol and includes personal stories of struggles with death, dying, and grief in the 20th century.
