Definition
- A personality type first described by two cardiologists, Friedman and Rosenman, in the 1950s. It can be understood as a set of behavioral characteristics that include intense ambition, compe tition, drive, preoccupation with responsibility, a sense of time urgency or impatience, and occasional hostility and cynicism.
