  • The present structure of the United Nations (UN) headquarters includes important permanent commissions and offices that deal with matters directly concerned with the police services and other law enforcement agencies of the UN member states. Some of these UN bodies plan and coordinate the numerous worldwide UN actions, which involve civilian police forces operating under the UN flag.
