  • The United States Pharmacopeia and National Formulary (USP-NF) is a guidebook that lists current pharmaceutical standards, including those for medicines and dosages, drugs, and dietary supplements; the volume is a combination of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and the National Formulary (NF). The United States Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act lists the USP-NF as the official manual for all drugs used in the United States and this volume is also used as a quality check for drugs sold worldwide.
