  • EPENDYMOMAS ARE SLOW-GROWING, localized tumors of ependymal cells in the central nervous system, the part of the nervous system consisting of the brain and spinal cord. They make up 6 to 9 percent of all primary tumors of the central nervous system and approximately 30 percent of central nervous system tumors in children.
