Definition

  • Since 1990, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has been producing wide-ranging assessment reports. As a result, the Fourth Assessment Report (AR4) is the fourth in a series of reports intended to assess scientific, technical, and socioeconomic information concerning climate change, its potential effects, and options for adaptation and mitigation.
