  • A gunshot dectection system uses electronic sensor technology to locate the source of gunfire and then send an alert to local law enforcement dispatchers. Usually installed in high-crime areas, such a system can employ a variety of acoustic, optical, seismic, and thermal sensors in distributed arrays that aid triangulation of gunfire sources.
