  • Literary theory has joined organization studies several times under various guises, the three most common being literary theory as a guide to fiction, as a repertoire of analytical tools, and as an aid to disciplinary reflection. Conceptual Overview Literary Theory as a Guide to Literature The idea that social sciences can be enriched through close contact with literary fiction can be traced to the very beginnings of the social sciences and, more recently, to Lewis A.
