Definition
- The financial means, commitment, and foresight required to design and fully realize a New Town makes it by definition rare. Examples in the United States range from the colonial settlement of Savannah, Georgia, to the late-19th-century industrial town of Pullman, Illinois, and extend to the current New Urbanism movement in neo-traditional developments such as Seaside, Florida.
