Definition
- Third-party lawsuits allow injured persons to sue “third parties,” entities who are not directly responsible for the injuries sustained by the individual. Although these lawsuits can involve any type of third party, state and federal courts have seen increasing numbers of third-party lawsuits involving three issues.
