- Bocee is a precision sport and a widespread game, whose name is the plural form of boccia, the Italian word that indicates the kind of ball used in the game itself. Its rules and characteristics are similar to those of bowls and Provencal pétanque, although bocee is more popular in Italy and other Mediterranean countries.
