  • The increasingly precarious nature of employment means that workers of all backgrounds may need to look for a job at various points in their careers. The more formal and traditional methods of job seeking include such activities as browsing through Internet job boards or newspaper classified ads and sending out résumés and cover letters, or going to a school placement office or a temporary staffing agency.
