- According to the annual Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, nearly 32% of Americans reported they did not exercise at all, while another 18.5% stated they only exercised on one or two days throughout the week. With statistics such as those, it is no wonder that physical inactivity ranks in the top five causes of preventable deaths in the United States.
