- Definitions of teacher leadership abound, but most hold in common an expanded view of teachers' contribution to schooling through leadership activities and efforts beyond the boundaries of the classroom. Teacher leadership is generally considered to be the ability and energy to make a contribution to the school beyond one's classroom duties.
