transferability

Definition

  • Due to the nature of the qualitative methodologies, it is not appropriate to have the large sample populations found in some quantitative studies, which might have a sample of 500 to 1,000-plus participants. With any study, there should be careful thought into selecting the participants with the inherent notion that they somehow represent the entire population.
