Definition
- In evaluation of behavioral health services, the purpose is to assess adequacy, quality, and access of these services. According to Healthy People 2020, prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders is one of the major topics with overarching objectives for the reduction of health inequity and for enhancement of the quality of health during the life span.
