Preferred term

green cleaning and purchasing for schools

Definition

  • Contrary to popular opinion, a green and healthy school does not have to be new. Old schools can become greener and healthier, too—first, by greening the products they purchase, and second, by targeting renovations and major repairs as opportunities to adopt healthier and more efficient building systems.
