- Sculpture, an art form that has existed for thousands of years, has gained new attention as a result of the sustainability movement. “Sculpture” refers to a three-dimensional artwork that is created through the shaping or combining of hard materials (such as stone, metal, glass, or wood) or plastic materials (such as clay, polymers, softer metals, or textiles).
