DEFINITION
  • Abu Musab al Zarqawi was the nom de guerre of Ahmad Fadil Nazal al Khalayleh, the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), an extremist Sunni insurgent group with links to the transnational al Qaeda terrorist network.
